Vicennium, the three year-long celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of Ma’din Academy concluded here at Swalath Nagar in Malappuram on Monday early morning with a mammoth gathering of hundreds of thousands of people from various parts of the state, Kerala. The concluding session which began on Thursday hosted 23 seminars discussing various issues that concerns the contemporary Muslim societies across the world and is attended by delegates from 17 universities and 32 countries.
Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Minister of the state inaugurated the function. H.E Adama Dieng, Special Adviser of the Secretary-General on the Prevention of Genocide was the guest of honour of the event.
This conference, which has guests from all over the continent, is drawn to a wide array of diverse and language varieties.
